1. Water Sealing & Wading Limits
- Not 100% Waterproof: This unit is designed for rugged off-road environments, but it is not guaranteed to be 100% water-tight under all operating conditions.
- External Factors: Factors such as deep water crossings, structural chassis flex, high water pressure, and incorrect installation can lead to fluid ingress.
- Cross-Brand Connection: We cannot guarantee a perfect, water-tight seal when connecting this airbox to third-party or factory snorkels. Mating different brands is done entirely at your own risk.
2. Acrylic Clear Lid Care (If Applicable)
- Hand-Tighten Only: Over-tightening the lid fasteners will cause stress fractures and crack the clear panel. Damage from over-tightening is explicitly excluded from warranty coverage. Never use impact drivers or high-leverage tools.
- Chemical Sensitivity: Do not expose the clear lid to degreasers, brake fluids, fuel, or solvent-based cleaners. These chemicals cause immediate clouding and structural cracking. Clean with mild soapy water only.
3. Australian Consumer Law & Liability
- Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
- However, to the extent permitted by law, the manufacturer is not liable for consequential engine damage (such as hydrolock) resulting from user error, improper lid sealing, exceeding safe vehicle wading depths, or incorrect installation.
